The president of the United States has become increasingly controversial in recent years.
His rhetoric, including comments about Muslims, Mexicans and refugees, have caused many to question his suitability to be commander in chief.
The Republican president tweeted on Thursday, “If you like your politics straight, you can have your politics.”
Trump also retweeted a tweet from a supporter, who tweeted, “It’s time to start calling out the ‘bigots’ for their bigotry.”
In his tweets, the president referred to the United Nations as “the most unhinged organization in human history” and said he wants to ban Muslims from entering the country.
In the past week, Trump has expressed support for the violent white nationalist group, which has been at the center of a nationwide debate over whether to ban the group from the United Kingdom.
Trump also has repeatedly criticized the president of Argentina for calling him “a moron.”
Argentina has said it does not support the Trump administration’s policy of deporting migrants.
